As a Scouser and thankfully a Red one, yes, quite quiet today. What a magnificent, magnificent result.

Speaking to my mum+dad who went to Istanbul - they got up at 4.30am yesterday, and arrived back at 12 midday today without sleep!! - they are very tired, but over the moon.

We love you Liverpool, we do

Yea it was great for Liverpool great for the English game,Gerrard was a Gladiator and Carragher was his usual self, when you see players of this calibre along with Lampard, Terry, Rooney etc it looks good for the England set up.
I used to watch Liverpool on the tv back in the 80's and at the time they were 1 of the main teams in Europe so last night was like a bit of a nostalgic trip for me,havent stopped humming "Walk On"
Bet your parents had one hell of a time,3 sides of the ground was RED!!

Incredible result. Even Eric The Brave would have been impressed had he watched it. Apparantly some Liverpool supporters left the ground at half time - gutted or what, but then a true supporter would have stayed til the end.

I had a bit of a hangover yesterday after Jan and I went to the pub to watch the game. She asked me at half time if anyone had ever come back from 0-3 down!!

Great game but I bet Benetiz was happy after his tactics for the first half, um, now lets think.....we played very defensive football in Europe all season and were difficult to beat....I know, we'll not play any defensive midfield players and instead play Harry Kewell......BRILLIANT! What a muppet........got out of jail though, as someone greater than I said it's better to be lucky than good.

Harry Kewel!,what a mamsy pansy LaLa light weight, hey Nige makes me laugh an Arsenal supporter calling Benitez "Lucky" but i know what you mean he had to go some to rectify his mistake ,i kinda got the impression led by Gerrard(see if after the 1st Reds goal geeing with his arms)they knew what had to be done with their never say die attitude ,thats what makes the Premier League the best in the world.

Love Football humour,Liverpool fans at half time singing "We're gonna win 4-3",another one i,Andy Goram the then Rangers goalkeeper declared he was Skitso,at the next game Aberdeen fans sang "There's only 2 Andy Gorams" lol.

Well pleased, even as a (sad, very sad in fact) Palace fan (N.B. Palace 1 Liverpool 0, marginally over a month ago)

Fantastic display by the scousers. We all agree they should be allowed back in next year.
