Hi all, been looking for a C5 for a while and thought I would try here.

I am looking the following:
Silver/Grey in colour
Coupe or Convertible
would prefer a 51 Plate on if poss, but for the right price.
HUD - got to have those gadgets!
Side Sills

Have seen the Y-Reg for £20K on here but really wanty it one year newer.

I have the money ready no part-ex needed, although if someone wants an RX7 that requires a rebuild please LMK :(

Looking to spend no more than £23K

Have you thought about importing one? Silver ones are pretty common in the US. I don't think that spiral gray came out until 2004 - that's the gunmetal one.

Spiral Grey was available for 2003 onwards I think, I know they were making them in Dec 2003 as I started one on the production line at Bowling Green!

Actually, I found that in the South, silver was a real rarity. During my time in Houston I used to see Corvettes most days but only ever saw one other silver one.

As far as 'silver' colours go, silver and grey are your two main choices. The colour palette isn't exactly wide. About the closest is the yellowy pewter colour.

Hi Pete,

checkout www.autotraderonline.co.uk at the moment as there are loads of silver C5 's for sale at the moment.
There's a '51' reg coupe for 22.5K, 16,000 miles that looks a possibility.
You could also try Chris Graham as he always has C5's in stock and you should be able to get way you want for what you want to spend.
