Go on then - I'll take one - in yellow please.

Saw that - lovely looking (and sounding) car.

I'd expect the $75K or so for it to end up being £50-£60K over here, but I still think that's excellent value for naturally aspirated 505hp and 470lbft of torque... I'll bet it screams to drive.

Am sure the usual corners will poo-poo it, but I'm sure this will kick the arse off an awful lot of much more expensive motor.

Sounds too quiet to me....but then I have got the sound on mute on the p.c.

not too sure how this would go down in the office!

In fact, I've just thought about it.

Its power to weight ratio is very good (and before somebody chips in that a 150cc powered kit-car has a better ratio, 505hp is what I'm talking about!!)...

190mph, 0-60 in <4sec (I think 1st stretches to past 60 to achieve this), will have excellent durability comparitevely. This is again Corvette being what it should be: kick arse performance at a kick in the arse price.

I want one

....it's worrying, but I am beginning to think I might want one too, if only I could get over the styling....

Car defintely needs a nice big rear wing......

Well, I've always liked the look of the C6 anyway, but if you look in that video as the car's pulling away... that is definitely a Corvette rear-end: big and two pairs of red lights... Coke bottle shaped as well... I do like it!! And from the front, with the back end a bit higher, it looks like a bird of prey. I mean, if my lowly old 1991 ZR1 looks menacing (people just move out the way!!) what 500hp of 7.0L growling up them would do, I'd love to find out

Now that I like!

Having decided against the introductory model C6s we're now faced with both the Z06 and the 6-speed flappy-paddle auto (due MY06). Decisions, decisions.

Loved the specs when it was first talked about.

Loved the look of the prototype models.

Love the differences from the standard C6 that for me make it look great

Love the prospect of all that performance and great handling

Perhaps this will be the Vette to finally shut up all the haters on this side of the pond? I certainly hope so! At 60k (I think we'd be lucky to get it at that over here) it would wipe the floor with a comparatively priced 911 round the 'Ring.

I want one so much it hurts!

Did see a few in BG when I was out there and they really do look good in any colour. A loud exhaust would be a must though.

Very nice - still heavy than you'd like 1420kg but that engine will make up for it. I'd like a crack at Millbrook.
