A reminder that next Sunday (June 12th) is the monthly CCCUK meet at The Fish Inn, Ringwood from about 12.30/1.00pm. Everyone is welcome and if the weather is OK we could drive to Sea View (Constitution Hill) in Poole for a coffee and meet the other American car owners who congregate there every week.
Hope you can make it on Sunday.
About time those ZR1 owners from Boringstoke put in an appearance (even if it's in their taxis)

I will be there providing I'm not Car hunting for the girlfriend.

Need to find her a car quick after hers was written off so I can remove the Taxi stickers from the Vette!

Hey Nath,
Such a suprise to see you in Poole on the bank holiday! Know the feeling about the taxi - i think shes purposefully not looking for a car. Still the meter is running and payback is due v soon!

Unfortunately i am in London that Sunday! Maybe next one finally.

Decision time:

Option 1. Fly to San Juan, Porto Rico on Saturday and savour the Caribbean heat for a week whilst working (honest!) out there and luxuraiting at the Ritz Carlton resort and spa on expenses......

Option 2. Go down the M3/M27 from Boringstoke to Ringwood....

<thinks for a nanosecond> cogs whirr, steam exits ears, eyes boggle </thinks for a nanosecond>

As nice as lunch is at the Fish Inn, and as much as enjoy my Vette...... and seeing your fantastic Vettes..... and wanna see Richard's new bonnet (didn't realise that headgear was back in fashion).... I am gonna miss you guys.

See ya next time - oh no, think I am swimming with Turtles in the Aegean for the next one.... see ya in August then.

Have a great time (rest assured, I will)

Kev.

Unfortunately, the river Wey navigation doesn't go to the south coast, plus I don't think a barge will make it there and back in a day. (real reason is my Ruby is finally in the bodyshop for the repairs following 'old lady' syndrome from April and I don't think a Nissan Micra will play the part)

We went to Seaview afterwards and another C6 turned up. A week old. The colour was that sort of orange/rust colour. Nice light oak interior though.
