Before I went to Billing on Sunday I did a quick check on the essential fluids (on the car) and found that the foam strip across the radiator on my c3 had been vigourously nibbled. I then proceeded to find mouse droppings on the engine. Any ideas on the best way to combat this and please don't suggest I get a cat as I cannot stand them either.
The humane traps work, the plastic box ones, but the first time I used it the mouse went in, eat the cheese and b@ggered off!
Found the best thing was to smear stilton on to the cap at the end so that the mouse needs to lock its self in before it can reach the cheese.
Remember to take the little blighter a long way away from your place otherwise it will return.....

I saw a grass snake at lunch time today, that's the first time I've ever seen a snake in the wild in this country. I reckon it would be easier to catch the snake and let him loose in my house than trap my small black furry friend.
Go on Brett, I'll ask the question, what's a Zag ?
Don't ever pick up a grass snake. I did. It immediately acts dead and emits the foulest stench you will ever smell all over you. Believe me, you'll drop the snake and eventually it will give up acting dead and slither off.
Get a lady mouse, let her out with a bit of lippy on and a short skirt. About a month later, Mr and Mrs Mouse will have a large family and will need to move to bigger premises. Problem solved!
Don't do the snake idea - it may get rid of the snake but the snake may then get rid of you!
