Hello all,

Sunday approaches and there's already a few of us going in our cars to Kimbolton show (just off the A1 near St Neots). (details see http://www.countryfayre.info/ there's red arrows flypast and all sorts)

Anyone else can make it - let me know, it'd be good to meet up maybe even sort a meet point so we can cruise in.

If you want to show your car then Steve Edwards has extra tickets - if you either contact him direct or drop me a line and I'll get in touch with him to sort out your needs - but please do it soon!

The show has a number of car clubs attending, last year the Corvette's won best club stand!

Fran - not sure I can make it as my brother in law is visiting from the US. He is an ex Corvette owner but I'm not sure what his plans are for Sunday. Steve Edwards phoned me yesterday and I said that as I'm a Sporting Bears member anyway, I would probably do Dream Rides if I did go. (Must clean the car first - it still has 3,452 French and German flies on it)

Not sure if I can make it yet.

I am checking the brakes on my car and busy on Saturday. If all is okay with the car I will be along on Sunday.

Is letting you know Saturday night too late ?

We had a great time on Sunday - thanks for coming Malc, Gixer, Nuts, Sciencebird and mustn't forget mum and dad. What a range of cars/clubs there and it was interesting to talk to owners of different cars, including the mad motorbike engined Westfield guy, Ultima owners, Nissan ZX owner and all sorts of others. Plenty of exotica there too with the dream rides.

Of course, the opinion is that Vettes don't handle, which Gixer may have dispelled with the Elise owner that tried to follow him home...

Finally, I'll let Malc elaborate if he wants to, but we had LOTS of grief with the AA on Sunday to the point I might consider cancelling my membership...

Great day - sorry you couldn't make it Gary Z, hopefully see you at another event sometime!
