Its official driving tierd is dangerous

Is this true ? I mean, who would have thought it. I suppose I'd better stop wrapping myself in a duvet when on the road then
! Then again, maybe this research is flawed like the governments research on how speed is responsible for almost every accident that has ever happened, and that people pulling out without looking, or indicating, or any other number of dangerous manouvers has absolutely no bearing on it all .
Here's an idea Mr. Blair - how about replacing all the Gatsos and other cameras with big alarm clocks that go off whenever anyone drives past with their eyes closed ?

Oh my god, I can't believe it. I thought crashes were cuased by all the drivers that slam their brakes on when they see the reduce speed warnings because of non-existant congestion.
I better stop dosing up on sleeping tablets before journeys then, and remove the rotating moon and star projecting light effect from the inside of my car.....
