SVA Blues... Anybody got some wheels I could Borrow ??

Took my 2001 to SVA today but it's failed on the wheels sticking out side of the wheel arches to much...

I fitted Z06 wheels and now wish I hadn't..

Can any one help and lend me some front wheels normal 8.5" wide ? Would give Bear mooney for your help ??? Live near Coventry...

Who is "Bear Mooney"? is this a relation of Wayne Rooney?

I have a set of Z06 wheels on my.....Z06 and the fronts are off the car at the moment and I work in Warwick, so you are welcome to borrow them and fit them onto the back if that helps you out.

Thanks alot bud but I am putting my front Z06 wheels on the back, so that they will pass the rear, so I realy need a set of standard 8.5" fronts to get the front narrow enough.....

What aload of hassel... are the Z06 bodies slightly wider than the normal wings ??

Funny thing is that the SVA Guy said they didn't even have to be round ? I could use bent wheels and bold tyres, as long as the tyres where "E" marked with the correct speed rating and would stay inflated for an about and hour and be inside the wheel arches it would still pass.....

Makes a mockery of the system realy, when they fail my nice new wheels that stick out about 5mm from the arches.....

I've got a spare set of ZR1 wheels with good tyres on. The rears will be way too wide but the fronts are 275's. Not sure how that compares with what you have at the moment but you are welcome to borrow them if it helps (I'm 20 mins from the M25 in Kent)

I've got standard wheels all round still on the car, if you're really stuck and want to take them off...
...and put them back on.

I'm in Oakham so not a million miles away.

My thanks go out to "mark387mw", he kindly lent me his wheels. My Car is now SVA Passed and I'm just waiting for the V5 and Tax disc to come back from the VRO...
