C6 prices stateside...

Brand new C6 convertible, red with black interior, yours for just under $60,000 (£34,300), in stock in Potamkin Chevrolet in Manhattan. Sciencebird and I had a look and a sit, very nice!

Now why do we have to add duty and delivery...

Not that I could find, but I didn't look too hard, thought I'd ought make a bee-line straight for the C6. In truth, I would doubt it, they weren't the most Corvette focussed salesmen (didn't seem to know the detail on the car) but in fairness, they also sold Hummer, Pontiac and a load of other Chevrolet marques too. Judging by the number of Vette's spied in Manhattan (i.e. zero) then I'd say it looks like it's not the place to find good secondhand deals!
