Corvette Sales in Europe
Discussion
The latest newsletter from The National Corvette Museum says:
"Corvette and Cadillac’s European sales figures have reached an all-time high in 2005.
With a few weeks to go, the sixth-generation Corvette is on its way to becoming the most popular Corvette model ever in Europe. Sales for 2005 have already exceeded 1,000 units, a new European record for the vehicle. More than 400 pre-orders have already been taken for the 2006 Z06, the fastest and most powerful Corvette ever offered. Cadillac sales are already up almost 50 percent over full year sales in 2004"

Still haven't see one!
Guess they're bound to be shifting one or two in LHD markets but about as popular over here as a Lancia.
It's great to see the new Vette pulling in some orders. Makes a welcome change from the default rear-engined German in that price bracket. Excellent news. With a bit of luck the "all American cars are crap" brigade will shortly have something to chew as they are laid waste by the modern, reliable 500 bhp Vette!
It's not hard to improve non-existent figures. Spoke to the local Cadillac Corvette dealer who have just opened and they haven't sold any Cadillacs yet but hope it will take off. The only one I'd buy is the CTS-V. Mind you, I wouldn't buy a C6 either. The 300C's in the Chrysler dealership next door are selling like hot cakes apparently.
