Cheers Peter for sending me a copy of the Autumn Vette UK Mag - hope you fine my article interesting.

Power to weight > C6 Z06 is interesting!

Think I'll be ringing the LongLife Team for some straight through replacement merge pipes for my centre box - for the Full Noise and more power in 06!

You're very welcome Jom - thanks for supplying the detail!

This months Vette News also has PistonHeads very own "Stevie Turbo"s Chevy-powered Granada featured, and we have some more similar features in the pipeline too.

Cheers, and a very happy New Year to everybody on these forums... Pete

Yes, that's one hell of a TVR. Never saw a Granada like that on The Sweeney either!

TOTB IV dvd features Stevie turbo's Twin Turbo LS1 Grandad (sorry Granada) what a fantastic sound and was it 185MPH ? I'd be happy with that from my TT Z06!

TOTB IV dvd? Where do we get this 185mph! Eeek.

Pete - the article on the Goodwood Charity Trackday - is this likley for 06 and if so could I go? I'm sure mine would spank those Lambo's etc!

Er....I think your biggest problem would be not passing the very strict noise limits at Goodwood.

The car is remarkably quite - might not be with centre box out (as planned as regard the Carshalton garagre in Autum edition of mag) - but will get it so that it is able to be put back in. Sure not aby loader than a Vette C5 / C6 with the small rear silencer taken out - I'll take you for a spin and see what you think?!

Goodwood measure the sound level of each car before they are allowed out on track. If you go there early in the day on a track day they'll measure you for free so that you can find out whether you need to do any mods. They do the test at 75% of redline speed, they also have monitoring equipment at 3 points around the circuit and check levels during the day. Some days they have a 98dB limit and there are a few days when 105dB is allowed. I have a friend who had to put the cats back on his Elise as it was too loud without them.

All the C5 Vettes failed with aftermarket exhausts........only ones that passed were C5RagTop and Timon's standard C6.

Then I would be a member of TR (well lapse for 1st tim in 15 years), TVR, MG (have to race in TB championship!)and Vettes!

Really just want to rock up at Fairmile have a beer and do that Goodwood day in ChimVette - see how it goes against yours!

Funny comment on the review on that day from guy doing the article on missed out on how his C6 (not Z06) would stack up against your MONSTER - well surely he would not see which way it went!

I'm happy to get you one ad-hoc if required... just let me know (email). I might get it put on our club website as a Paypal item in due course... It would actually make sense for you to join though

Cheers... Pete
