Anyone has seen my head(s)?
Discussion
Just to let you know that my heads should be somewhere in the UK, anyone has seen some 32v heads without home?
As my engine is being rebuilt I just have been told that the heads and the injector housings (that should be the original '91 model) were "replaced" at some time for '90 model parts (without valve seals), and that the porting was very poor (just 33.5mm, while stock are 33mm)
I am sure there are more surprises to come from the Galactic-tuner.

Jordi, ime sorry to hear this but it comes as no surprise,he tried to sell you your own gearbox remember.
Before taking my engine apart it did cross my mind that there would be the slightest chance i could be wrong about him as on the face of it he talks a good job, however once i took the engine apart ,then had to send my "top end" to the states only to be told i would be better off to start again and buy all new stuff at the cost of many $$$$$$$$ it became very obvious he is a chancer in disguise and a "Jack of all trades master of none",this i can stomach if the perpertrator holds his hands up and comes clean, but to bare face lie then dissapear under a stone ,i can not.
When my new parts came back and i saw the difference in engineering it bought home even more how i had been wronged to the tune of £24K,not only this but he still has certain parts from me from the original build.
He hasnt got a clue what he's doing and i strongly advise against anyone using anything with the name j**l on it,the truth will come to the surface sooner or later about the way he has misled some corvette owners.
Hope the build is coming along OK Jordi.

Me too as my engine is going to be there next week, maybe even Monday - don't want to be waiting around for yours
Seriously though Jordi that is so out of order - why would they have been swapped over anyhow?? I find it really hard to believe/understand why all this has gone on. He was in such a good position and always appeared genuine to me. Cliff will tell you how full his w/shop was on those weekends we all meet up there. Just seems like he's thrown it all away...madness

Brett, you have a point, the way i see it, when someone is not properly qualified in what they do and have poor business skills this is invitable.
The chances are such persons start off with good intentions until things go wrong and they borrow from the next job to put right.
They then have the choice wether to suffer the loss or pass it on to the next unsuspecting customer(s).
You made a good choice.

Why that happened? good question, but I guess I don´t have an answer.
I guess he was (like always) short of money and took the heads out of another blown project engine and put them into mine instead of paying someone to have mine ported.
Like you, I too was very confident with Jeal at the begining, I attended to both Camp LT5 events at his place (back in 98 and 99) and use to call him my friend... but when too much money was put on this project without clear results, and then the kind of work he was performing was becoming evident after every consecutive failure. The only thing that was "top work" at Jeal's were the excuses. I was (like many others) "caught by the b*lls" (like we use to say in Spain), I had a lot of money invested and refused to admit what was obvious, that I had been busted until it was far too late.

I felt the same,a likeable bloke with a thirst for other peoples £££££'s or another words a conman
, It taught me not to let my heart run away with my passion,i made a big nieve mistake there.

I felt in the same position,i had invested so much but also where else are you to find a ZR-1 specialist in Europe.
Lucky that most of us owners in Europe are keepers and have compiled enough knowledge and hands on experience in different departments to help each other out.
