Need a 350 auto box
Discussion
If you don't get any luck here, you best have a look at Classic American (classifieds in the back) STreet Machine, or you could try (I always put this so sorry) Real Steel, who import Art Carr racing transmissions. These are built up gearboxes and are not too badly priced (although if you're that way inclined, a second hand gearbox could be bought and rebuilt DIY for less than £500- not done it myself but know a man who has)
Hi Charlie,
You could try the Parts section of the CCUK website
www.corvetteclub.org.uk/viewforum.php?f=25
might also be worth checking Ebay and somebody like Tom Falconer at Claremont Corvette would always have an Auto box in stock. I assume this is for a 70's type auto box, as there are various 35 auto boxes ranging from the first 350's built in 1970 thru to the last ones built in 1996.
There are a huge variety of 350 engines ranging across the 26 year period and there knowing wither a C3 or C4 corvette box would be a start.
