I like the Billy Boat rear boxes on mine, best place to look would be either.

www.corvettegarage.com

or

www.westcoastcorvette.com

as both sites have pics etc.

Go into formating codes on the side of the reply box and it will give an example, then do

[pic] whatever the url of the piccy is inbetween and then [/pic]

To get an idea quote this post and see the format of the pic i posted,if you struggle i can talk you through it.

Try one of the free hosting sites like Fotango.com they allow you to upload your pics to their site, give you a URL (the bit between the [pic] etc. bit) and away you go!

No worries Bryan, thats a pretty extensive coverage of C4 and C5 pipes for us all to chew on,in your opinion and ime guessing you have probably heard more exhaust notes than most of us in "blighty", what is the best combination in sound and power for the C4 & C5 pipes.

So far on the C4 with all my playing around ive found the corsas with headers to be too loud for every day use where as the corsas with stock manifolds although quieter barks when you step on it and a lot more comfortable for every day us,although some power will be sacrificed.

I find the Borlas to have to be too quiet on stock headers and quite a lot of resonance with AM headers.

As for the C5',ive heard some nice sounding exhaust combos but would be interested in the exh/header combo that the other drivers run to get the best sound,i am interested after hearing a couple of C5's at the local PH meet.

AAAAAAAAA's for you sir!

The problem with all those systems is that there should be a pipe from just in front of the axle to the tip and throw the silencers away.

Peter try this, find a pic on the net(chances are its hosted)

Right click on the pic and it brings up tall box
At he bottom is "Properties"...left click on properties.

This brings up an even bigger box,in this box in the middle is "Address" {URL)

Copy this address by turning it blue ,then right click on the blue and copy.

Now click the mouse to get rid of the blue and get rid of the big box

YOUR MOUSE IS NOW LOADED WITH THE ADRESS URL

Now do a [pic] then straight after paste the URL ,now close it with [/pic] and you should get.

I like real Hp gains and big sound! B&B gets my vote if I were to do my ZR-1. I have a very loud flowmaster on my 84 vette! And I like the ZR-1 sound and performance so I have stayed stock(plus keeps the fuzz from taking note. I do see from forum posts that a lot of the guys have thought the resonance from the BB's to be very disturbing and have gone to the effort to replace with a toned down type(ie corsa) and have been happy. But usually some smart azz chimes in to say how he loves his bb's and real men handle the intense resonance cause they want the hp/perf. gains....To each his own I say! I do like taking the 84 out and making some noise though...but the ZR-1 in nice for the quiet cruise and plenty of note when I get on it with the stock set up so I stayed with it! But if I ever do change it out...well....it wil be ........
