We are currently starting pre-production of the fourth series of Wheeler Dealers, the popular show about buying, restoring and selling on modern classic vehicles as shown on The Discovery Channel Real Time. We are looking for owners of a Chevrolet Corvette C4 from 1984 (5.7 litre) in immaculate conditions. If you are unfamiliar with the programme, we will be restoring a similar vehicle and would like to meet one owner who can show us what the car should look like once completely restored. The owner will be required to spend 1 or 2 days with us at the Kemble Airfield sometime in March. There, you will be interviewed by the presenter of the series, Mike Brewer. We will need to film some beauty shots of the car (inside and out) as well as see Mike Brewer drive the car. If you are interested please contact me at the following email address: martini4all@hotmail.com - feel free to email me some pictures of your car, as well as info about yourself and most importantly, contact details. If you require additional information, do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Martini

My friend's dad has just picked up a late (1995 ish?) C4, manual, LS2 (is that right?) engined model. He might be interested. Is this too new a model?

I will point him to this thread.

as well as see Mike Brewer drive the car.

And there is the the problem I suspect, Martini. I don't have a C4, but I wouldn't want Mike Brewer driving my C3 ! I suspect many C4 owners are every bit as car-proud as me.
Mike Brewer drive the cars ? Yeah sure - when Hell freezes over

We've seen Mike Brewer driving cars. We've also seen the way he restores them. Send him back to the backstreets and leave him there.

If it is a 1995 then it will be a C4 and should have an LT1 engine. If it has an LS1 then it will be a 1997-2004 C5, if it has an LS2 motor then it's a 2005 or later C6!

Hope this makes it clear for everyone.........

Er, I'd love to but think my car can't be described as 'immaculate!'

If restoration is respray and fitting of Movit brakes I'm most interested!

Think I'll take it out tonight for a spin in fact...
