Is it the front one or the back one,its worth squeezing what you think is the good one to see if water comes out in little bubbles, this means its pourous and although it looks ok is rotting on the inside,if its ok then ile buy the spare one of you.

Ive done both in my time and you will find removing them is the hardest part, also in the corners are little plastic dowels you will need to pull out.

The important thing when putting the new one on is place it on dry first and get used to tucking it under the metal retaining edge then walk away and leave it and have a cuppa ,go back to it and review how it sits in the groove and around the frame ,once you are happy peel up just one side and glue, tuck it in then peel up the other side and glue, this way it will be spot on.

Gixer has definitely done some of the seals - let me know how you get on (take pics if poss!) - I could do with doing mine (along with a list of many other things!)

If you are talking about the hard ones that attach along the top of the doors where the glass slides up and down against they are relatively easy to fit.

You need to remove the door cards, which can be fun as they put some of the screws in cunning places, you also need to remove the old window rubbers which clip onto the top of the door edge and you need to be careful not to chip the paint when removing them. I also seem to remember that they are rivetted at both ends which means you need to drill out the old rivets.....and have a rivet gun to put in new rivets!

Can't remember if you do this with the windows up or down, but it's easy to test.....if the rivet has glass in front of it then don't drill

Yes these are the ones, its the passenger side one i will be doing, it doesnt leak or anything just looks really mashed up its gone very dry and brittle. The drivers side one is as new so even though I have bought it I wont be replacing it. I just hope the rivit gun isnt expensive as buying the rubbers has cleared my account until pay day!
