...All being well, I should be jumping behind the wheel of a C5 Z06 for the first time
Not one that I'm thinking of buying unfortunately [We'll see what happens over the next few months], but one at a driving experience around Goodwood circuit. I've done a couple of those driving days in the past and when I saw a 'vette one I just had to give it a go!

Oops, thought I'd posted about it a couple of days after... guess not!
It was actually in a C5 convertible rather than a C5 Z06. Still, at least it was a warm day and they had the top down
Anyway, I really enjoyed it! Even though on other experiences I've driven a Merc SL55, a Viper, a Diablo and a couple of others, the only car I've driven that was more fun around a circuit is the Noble M12.
It would be redundant for me to explain what the car is like to drive as most of you guys already have one so know how great it is
. The car I drove was a manual with a standard gearlever and I got on fine with it, which is handy to know. Oh, and I liked the HUD even more than I was expecting... very useful on the road I'd imagine!
From that all-too-short drive, it would certainly seem the Corvette would be a car that would be at home on the roads as well as the track. It's certainly given me something to think about...
In short, I loved it
