Camp Corvette Le Mans
Discussion
Here's full text of Gerard's message. Sounds straightforward.
"Hello all
"unlike in the past years, I won't be handing out materials at the Rotonde:
too much to do at Camp Corvette!
So, meeting to get passes and all other info will be:
- Friday, June 16th, from 08:00 until 13:00 at Camp Corvette, to the right
of the Karting Alain Prost, our usual spot
- Friday, from 15:00 until 17:00 in the center of Le Mans, between the
Place des Jacobins and the Drivers' Parade pre-stage area.
- Friday, from 20:00 at the Cheval Blanc restaurant in Changé, where you
are welcome to join for dinner (please confirm asap if you are)
- Friday, from 22:00 until 22:00 at Camp Corvette again
- Saturday, June 17th, from 08:00 until 14:00 at Camp Corvette
The rest of the time... call me on +33 685 05 09 37
Camp Corvette will be fenced and guarded by Security
A couple more infos:
- Selection for the Parade is not complete, participants will be contacted
latest tomorrow morning. As I mentioned already: less places than in the
past...
- We will most likely be able to accomodate most requests concerning the
Track Lap, pending confirmation of a 40-vehicle Charity Drive!!
Getting close!
See you all this weekend"

Damn wish I was going!
Me too! With all GM's troubles I worry that they wont be there next year!
G
Corvette Racing are going next year, and will be helping the brilliant Gerard Planche (who organised this year's facilities
) a lot more. They made the announcement saturday evening... let's hope they can stick to it with the business pressures they have. It was a great weekend for those who didn't go :runsandhides: and as soon as I can find a way to get a picture hosted, I'll be back to really pee you off.
Don't hold your breath I've never done it before!!!
Cheers Graham. I got it hosted in a couple of mins on tinypics and posted it on a new "classic vette pic" thread in here. I'd just never done that type of thing before - my wife won't let me take that sort of picture (nothing inferred of course all you guys who already knew how to post pics)
