Jeeeze I can't believe it. Got up nice and early (I was half asleep) to get along to the Nationals stuck my baby in drive and thought I was in reverse. Rammed it into the wall.... gutted !!! 20 years of driving Vettes and not a scratch then I go and do this

Still good old Pete down at Mech-Spray will have it sorted in a jiffy

Some may have noticed it, a blue c3 with a crack and a small hole front right. Yeah I know it was only small but it feels like the size of the universe when it's your Vette.

Anyway, it was a great day and I got to see a Black Z06 in the flesh for the first time which was good At least mine will be here soon, that will take my mind off the C3 while he's being fixed ...

And here's me getting cross with the "brake before shift" feature all auto's now have following the alleged Audi runaway fiasco!

Sorry to hear about the car and hope you get a good fix. New one should be something special!

Seems to be an unlucky time for some American car owning folk. I went to the Yate show last Sunday and there was a 2nd gen Camaro with a biffed-in nose and a lovely 60's Mustang fastback with a tennis ball sized hole literally 3/4 punched in the rear panel.

At least one of your rear wheels didn't fall off the car on the slip road approaching the entrance for the race course........this happened to a guy with a white C3 on Sunday, he had C4 wheels fitted to spacers and unfortunately the spacer was attahed to the wheel, but not to the hub

That was LNRD's.

Lovely beast!

(the car, I mean)

But so were all those, C1s, C2s, C3s... and I saw SOL1D's and 5USA's and K888's too, though I didn't know what they looked like (unless of course that was 5USA in the T-shirt that matched the car...).

Did a great job of getting it back together with the same wheel though

Similar thing happened to a guy on his return from the nationals last year - only he was reversing his C3 up his drive and ripped the open door off going backward. Clearly a bad day to take a Vette out!

Hope you get it sorted, sounds pretty minor but right up there on the annoying scale.
