OK I am used to the lap belts on my 73 occassionally depositing black marks on my white jeans and whatever my passenger may be wearing. But the C5 has just had a moment. Anyone got a hint & tip on how best to clean these? Soap and water seems too easy, I must be able to go out and spend loadsofmoney on something for my "specialist" product stable.

If I remember correctly you don't have much option other than mild soapy water as other cleaners may affect the integrity of the belt material. Don't let the belt reel in when it is still damp either.

Yeak I knew I was going to regret that but a pink shirt with white polka dots is real difficult to match

Didn't Jason King have a brother called Juan who needed to keep washing his white jeans?
