Having got back from Devon what is the first thing I see, Top Gear and the updated Lamborghini Gallardo spyder, Jesus what a beauty - I suspect it would be on the shopping list in front of a Z06 vert.

Talking of South Devon, you would not want to drive your C5 or whatever down there, I shall be hitting the nearside of the family Focus with plenty of T-cut next weekend!

Wasn't interested in performance, it was the looks (of course subjective) that thrilled me; I would lust after it if did 0-60 in 6 secs

What engine is this Barabas based on? (bit of a play on words isn't it)
Kind of think if I had a open cheque book it would have to made out to Callaway and one of his projected new twin turbo c6's. If my cheque book had to be just partly open a C6 Z06.

Not sure, but I've heard a rumour it is based on a highly modified LS-7. must be the fastest thing available atm.
Looks are questionable, subjective of course. For looks, V8V cannot be beaten, absolutely 100% to die for, and a relative bargain. 0-60 4.7sec, but who cares? its an Aston and that over-rides everything - IMHO.

mmmm sorry I have to disagree My current budget is well over 100K and I love Astons but I love Corvettes a lot more. Pity there isn't a high end Corvette over 100K right now. However, lots of rumours about the 'Blue Devil / Stingray' for 2008 / 2009. I've promised myself an Aston for my 50th birthday when the bones are getting older and the pace slows down a bit. It will be a 'shopping car' you understand, something to knock around in until the Vette comes out on sunny days

I guess as with all things it comes down to personal choice.

Engine kind of looks similar to a Banks Twin Turbo installation.
Banks conversions make up to 1600bhp, so maybe Barabus have gone to them for parts and knowhow. I'm off the Excel tonight, so I'll ask them.
