New Direction.
Discussion
Ive had a careful think over the last few weeks and have decided at the end of the summer to sell up everything ZR-1 related from the stock 91 car,the 90 modified car to the parts, wheels etc.
The reason is i feel like a change of direction and a fresh start, ive had a brilliant time with it and met some decent people along the way.
So if anyone wants to make an offer on anything and aslong as it remains authentic feel free to contact me.

That's a stunner Cliff, any ideas on direction at the moment?
Ive got loads of hobbies and interests that i would like to follow up Peter ,ime very fortunate that ive been blessed with good health and when i see some around me that have all sorts of health problems it makes me want to take advantage of it to the fullest and do a bit more
.
While ime not any where near 'old' ,i feel ime at the age where i want to get the most from my life and make every day count ,and to enable me to do this i need to take stock,of late walking out to the cars just doesnt do anything for me anymore and while i still get the excitement when i 'gun it' there are other hobbies like my running, football, modelmaking, traveling etc and generaly meeting people that i want to put more time into plus there are other things to take into account like my son,ive promised him that we will build a kit car together and do some track days.
Ive had a great time with the ZR-1's since 99 and now i need another type of stimulation of which hopefully my son will enjoy with me and benefit from.

Cliff, a great a shock to us all, however having looked at the amount of posts you have contributed (over 9300) that is a considerable amount of time you have dedicated to PH, combine that with your car re-building and I begin to understand you need time out for other things. Spending time with your son is important, before long he will grow up borrow your car and p*@s off, or bring it back with no fuel.
Bravo to Cliff

Not said by anyone else Cliff, but just because you don't have a 'Vette does not mean that you can't come see us.
You were one of the original Surrey crew and I am sure I speak for all when I say you've got to keep in contact with us.
Any cruise you want to go on that I am attending I will always have a spare seat (not the drivers one though, lol) Best of luck in whatever you do.

only just picked myself up off the floor...................And borrow your 368 ZR-1 once in a while ,na a ride in the passenger seat will suffice.
Red ones all but sold, black ones got some interest although i would be happier that it went to someone with tuning knowledge to get the best from it and make it realise its true potential, loads of parts still for sale including a short engine which would be a sound investment considering the shortage of some parts.

How much do you want for the black ZR1? It's a shame I may be made redundant soon, as I've always had a thing for ZR-1's.
Good luck!
Good luck!
Thanks, any dealing on the black car will be done through email only, the car is unique in its the only stroked LT5 in the UK and has the potential for 6-650 hp and 10sec quarter mile performance.
If i dont get the price ime after then i will just keep it and lock it away.
Hey Cliff, sorry to hear you are going to try and sell the ZR-1's especially after all the time, effort (and shed loads of money) you have spent on them over the last few years.
Really hope someone with your dedication and knowledge takes on both the cars as they are both a credit to you for the way you have looked after them.
See you soon mate.

Oh Cliff, please do that. Surely nobody is going to dedicate the time and effort to maintain the car as you have. It would be such a shame to see it go to a less fastidious owner and deteriorate.
Good luck with the new direction.
