Well it was the first official Z06 in the country, the first to be driven around a circuit, the first to be drag raced.....and now it's the first to be broken into.

After dropping off the shopping, I went out to wash it on Saturday afternoon, and found a hole with broken glass around the edge where the passenger window used to be....and my mobile phone gone.

Anyone who thinks that maybe reporting something like this to the Police is worthwhile, forget it, they were as useful as a fart in a lift. They'd rather sit there like the dumb F***** braindead fools they are rather than get my mobile number, track it via a GPS website, and find the C*** that did it, like right away. Y'know, solving the crime?
They looked amazed when I explained to them that you can track a mobile via a website, like it was the first time they'd ever heard of it. They are so backward, I mean, they still write stuff down on paper.
I suggested that I go straight home, track the guy via a website myself and if I find him first, then they shouldn't be surprised to find someone with no legs bleeding to death in the vicinity. Of course they said "oh you shouldn't do that sir". Well, it's better than just sitting there making notes and not F***ing doing anything isn't it!!!!!!!!! That's all they do these days, write it down, give you a reference number, and file it, end of story.
Worse than useless.

Feel free to call my old mobile number 07792 469276 and call whoever answers a thieving pikey F***

Sorry to hear that, mate

Afraid I can't say I'm too surprised by the Police reaction. Standard response these days it seems... unless you actually did catch up with the scum who did this; they'd be quick to come after you then

Sorry to hear that matey,if you need to get a 'possee' together to trap the thief ime willing to drive over to help.

As an aside; the other day i saw a rear end shunt, present were the police an ambulance and a paramedic...i could make out 3 groups of people on the verge with one person at each group taking notes.
I guess its all part and parcel of the 'Claim culture'.

Sorry to hear about that. It's a pain - leave your mobile on the seat in a Micra and you'll have a similar hole in your window. It's just more of a pain to get C6 glass right now I guess.

Police - no revenue in finding mobile phones. Now if you had a speed camera nicked from the boot.... well, that's different sir - we need to hurry to avoid reduced revenue!

Good luck with the glass.

Extremely sorry to hear about this. It is a very sad endictment of our law enforcement agency at a) their ignorance and b) their reluctance to actually do anything. I had an experience a few years ago when my house was burgled and I found some evidence left by the burglar that the police had missed. I dutifully contacted them only to be accused of doing their job for them, the retort being that sombody has to!

I'm with Cliff here as, despite not being an anarchist, we really have to stand up for ourselves since the law of the land seems unable to help.

A fool is answering the phone, it is quite amusing to call and insult him. He speak in pikey pigeon English too, so make sure you take da piss outta de accent innit.
He is now getting rather annoyed, and the more calls he gets calling him a pikey c#nt the better, as the phone will be useless to him as it now is to me.
07792-469276 is the number, so if you're having a bad day, or even a good one and just fancy a luagh, call this number and vent your anger at dirty thieving scum.

Many thanks for your kind offers of help. Rest assured, if I do track the phone number close enough to an exact location, then I'll call for the Corvette Crime enforcement team!

Look on the bright side, he didnt attempt to remove the radio with an oversized screwdriver as a jemmy. Personally I would rather Plod spent his time tracking down rapists or putting his life on the line trying to keep our city centres habitable that tracking down a mobile that some prat has left in his car. No doubt Plod would see sitting in front of a PC lookig at a web site as being the preferable option but his bossess tell him to go out and arrest some thug who has just bottled someone or investigate a robebry only to get filled with lead. Perhaps if you had put your alarm on you could have apprehended the wanker yourself instead of wasting their time.
