Hmm, dunno. I know they've added some bracing (which'll add weight), but that could also flex like a Russian gymnast if it's not done well.

I'd stick with the original and spend $11k on fuel

Seriously considered having this done to the C5 Z06 a couple of years back as the guys that do this conversion also do a Targa C5 Z06 and more importantly this......

There is currently offered for sale an 01 Carvaggio targa Z06 with minimal mileage and a price tag of $50k.
Given that the base car (pre-conversion) is only worth $30/32k, you might be better off spending some of the difference on performance upgrades to a Z51 base C5.
Just my thoughts.!
