The various Corvette generations lasted quite a few years each. However, now that the Vette will have a bit more home grown competition (hot versions of the Challenger/Camaro/Shelby Mustang) I wonder if we'll see a C7 sooner rather than later.
I hope so, and as much as I like the C6, I really hope the designers go to town on the C7. I'd like to see a return of the exagerated curves of the C3 Vette of the late 60's, early 70's.
A modern-day version of this please

Lack of pop up lights changes the whole look of the car. Thanks to those clumsy pedestrians and politicians!
I have just been out looking to buy my kid a car, and on my way back down the A4, noticed around Woodley that Stratstone's have a Vette showroom at the big Woodley roundabout. Couple of regular C6s in there and I have to admit, even with obvious lights they are growing on me. No Z06s there though.
O/T A bit further back towrds home, noticed Cliffy working. Sorry I didn't respond immediately Cliff but I thought your cab was black. Waited till I could get your face in my mirror before waving.
