my fully modded and lightened C3
Discussion
...hi, i'm new to this corvette 'branch' of the gassing station forums, i wanted to introduce my 4 speeds manual '77 C3, fully and deeply modded in suspensions, braking, weight and, of course, power. She has an 'American Speed' 406ci engine good for 575hp dinoed at 6.300rpms, weight dropped to 2.775lbs (from 3.600lbs). I'm an italian (the second guy from the left in the first pic), expat at the moment in northern spain. I usually post in 'corvetteforum.com'...

yes, performance is breathtaking, i never went to check on a track but with these specs of weight and power plus the rear gears 4.11, the quarter should be around low 10 sec and the 0 to 60 around 2.5''(with warmed up tires, good launch and perfect dry tarmac)
