ZR1 gets Stigged!

TG's back starting on Sunday evening, with attractions including ZR1 on the test track and ice-racing a Capri! (oops, how did that get on here ) Not sure which week the ZR1 will feature, so set your Sky+ now...

I think that they take the car this week for filming.
It's just come back from the 'Ring with Evo (In next months mag), then it went off to Autocar.

Autocar car are having the ZR1 again this Friday collecting in from GM at Luton.

Hmmmm, Just got this months EVO and there is a feature on the Audio R8 V10, new GT3, Aston Vantage V12 and the ZR1, guess what comes last.

Don't tell me, I bet it was partly because the ZR1 is "so expensive for a Vette". The irony being that if you look at the power, weight and performance of the Vantage, a fairer comparison would be with a C6 at half the price....and a Z06 would see off the R8 and the GT3!

Yes, very disappointing review in Evo. It was so off-colour they are thinking of getting another one in to see if it was just that example. Good luck with that though, I'm amazed GM even brought over one press car, and it's a UK registered one too!

I've applied to get it for an Auto-Journals review, but no reply yet...

I've just read it too and it was almost like reading a drive of a different car - they knocked it in all areas except straight line speed. Real shame. Still, overall the V10 R8 got a royal thumbs up. Which makes me slightly happier...

Wouldn't surprise me if the car was knackered... We know it's going to be on TG, so I wonder if it's already been in their hands? Given Clarkson's record for trashing cars you'd definitely want to get the car before it's had the TG treatment.

maybe different headlamps being fitted? there are what looks like new headlamps in a box in one of the other pics
