First top-down drive in 2010!

Decided to clear the cobwebs (me, not the car!) with a good, long top-down drive yesterday afternoon. Sunny, still...but 33F! Seats on full blast made it surprisingly comfortable even on the faster bits.
What surprised me was the number of Police cars on the road (and in some cases sitting in lay-bys (sp?) with the Cop standing ready to step into traffic. Can't imagine many people would still be p*ssed in the afternoon, so assume it was to catch people enjoying the empty roads... Fortunately, a combination of being vaguely awake and being held up by slower cars saved me from any embarrassment...
