Guys,

Picture of my new you which I collected from Caterham Midlands.

As you can see it is in the limited edition Team Lotus Colour Scheme, which look fantastic in the flesh, photos seem to make it look a lot darker than it actually is.

I also decided to go with the standard six speed box and leather seats too!!

This R500 also has the benefit of the new BMW LSD, which in the few short miles I have driven it so far seems very very quiet compared to my old R500!!

I will post more pictures over the weekend.

Nige.

I'm not normally a fan of green sevens, but I like that a lot!

Nor me normally, thats why I have had two Yellow ones before and my last R500 in White!

But when I first saw the Caterham Team Lotus car in the flesh could not believe how good it looks.

So it was time to go green for the first time!!

The paint is the same finish as the Dupont paint that is on the Team Lotus Formula 1 Cars.

Both the yellow and white stripes are hand painted, and I have to say the quality of the finish is just incredible.

It takes 3 days just to apply this paint scheme, and it really shows when you see it the daylight!!

Glad you like it!!

Cheers

Nige.

Very nice.

Does the reg. stand for "R500 On The Limit"?

You know Nigel, there's 'not enough video in this forum'(!)

Awesome Nigel, great choice. Is it an S3 (noticed the air filter out the side of the bonnet)
How does it compare to the old one, sequential s types etc

Great looking. Nice amount of Yellow there;)
Very purposeful looking.
I've been driving the opposite of that in Race07 - Yellow with green stripe. The 260's and 320's pull like trains!

Nigel

After referring to your first R500’s build blog a million times while building mine I know you like things right so I'm surprised you never built this one yourself. Are you happy with the way it's screwed together?

Looks lovely! Must be very tempting to re-space that number plate though!

Enjoy it!

Thanks, no its just an S3, I prefer the snugger fit, but this time went for standard leather seats over the carbon tillets!!
