I have a duratec r400 (2010)and the fuel pump has failed. Does anyone know if the caterham fuel pump is a bespoke part or can it be sourced elsewhere?
thanks

Are you sure it's the fuel pump and not the connection? Reason is I have a 2007 R400D and problem was a corroded connection.

have checked connections, fuses etc
does seem to be pump-
an earthing wire was detached and wonder whether this was the cause of the failure

The earlier cars used in the in tank ones are Rover 220 pumps.
The R500 used the Tomcat or R220 Turbo version.
I used one of the latter on my 2.0L VX and it was totally reliable.

Makes sense if they changed to Ford though.
A quick call or email to parts dept would confirm.
