Hi all. I run an R400D (although with its engine now rebuilt to R500 spec). I use it exclusively on the track and was contemplating changing the standard cycle wings to CSR style. Are they worth it; do they make much of a difference, aero wise though? Can I expect a little more front end bite?

They curve further around the front of the wheel, so you should get less lift from them.
But they are a tad short at the rear, so you'll get more crap thrown up at your sideskins.
The wheel offset is different on a CSR, so you'll need to either modify the stays, or fit the stays and change your rims.
CSR stays will fit your R400 uprights, even if the nice people at Caterham tell you they won't.
And as has been said, a great place to put your cup of tea.
