any positivity appreciated..

my year is generally going from bad to worse at the moment so any small amount of positivity would be good right about now
I managed to leave the lights on on the caterham today so the battery is flat (yes i'm stupid), i'm going to put a charger on it tomorrow & hope for the best but is there anything I should be aware of/tricks for the imobiliser/alarm? its a 1999 k series (1.6)
also I am getting an occasional buzzing from the rear of the car, usually for a few days after wet weather, fuel pump perhaps, any suggestions on a diagnosis?

From working in an over regulated health and safety industry I have a check list iin the car for pre start and post start procedures. It sounds anal, but it works and it prevents mistakes. Items include battery, tyre pressures, wheel nuts, bonnet and nose cone secure, even to remember to check exhaust for rodents nesting in it, etc, lol.
Banner batteries get a real slagging on the forums, however with the Banner conditioner they work well, not a problem for four years summer or winter, plus an annual check of fluid levels in battery.

Thanks but I don't need a new car battery, as I've written above mine was fine after it got charged for a few hours I just need to get a new immobiliser fob battery (cr2032) which I'll grab tomorrow.
The previous owner had only bought the red top in April/may when the previous one had been laid up too long to be recovered so its not like it was totally nackered
