Hello all,

Well I think it might have become addicted to the wonder that is Caterham wink

First drove one a few months ago at a Palmersport day, then hired Caterham's R300 last week just to check I could get along with it on the road... and quite frankly for a bit of fun!

Well... I definitely want one now, however there don't seem to be very many decent Superlights for sale at the moment!

Does anyone know of any R300 or R400s for sale at the moment (or potentially soon to be)?

I'm thinking of either a late K-series R300, or stumping up for a Duratec car (either R300 or R400)...

Anyone know of any?

Cheers!

No link to seller, apart from I owned an SLR previous to my current 7.

Unfortunately I don't really want a highly tuned k-series.

Hi, a friend is just about to advertise a superb R400 Duratec with a very high spec for £30k if you are interested? It has the usual R400 kit including LSD, 6 speed, tillets, wide track and it has been dry sumped plus has forged pistons and rods for better durability. I owner from new (2007 build). It's looked after by a racing team whose attention to detail is 2nd to none

If you are interested can you post your mobile number or drop me a PM as Chris is total technophobe and doesn't do email or the Internet!!

Slightly off topic, but this comment has made me wonder.

What kind of power can you get out of a 1.8 K series while keeping it reliable for daily use. Aka not being rebuilt every X miles etc...?

Sorry it had to go Chris, I hope the new owner gets many days of pleasure out of her!!

Sadly I think it wont be long before my R500 has to go too, we need a new family car, and 4 cars in the Pugh household is just too many!!

Looking forwards to seeing pictures of your new toy!!

Cheers,

Nige.
