SV Exhaust Manifolds Question

As progress continues on building our new track day car, I'm considering different options for the manifolds and I thought I'd pose the question to the knowledgable ensemble here, as not a member of Blatchat.

I'm ditching the std set up in the car now and DVA is building a VVC based 1800 for me. The car is an SV and with TB's etc I've kinda decided on a Raceco silencer as I don't want any issues with noise anywhere, which potentially rules out going somewhere like Powerspeed as only need the manifolds.

I also think that a 4-2-1 system would suit DVA's build and my driving style better than a 4-1, I know it's a great debate

I thought I'd just order whatever manifolds CC have to offer as being based in Paris, dragging the car about to have custom headers fitted up isn't an easy option and I just want to get it finished and on the track ASAP. The lack of response from the French Caterham angents here is also a pain and because it's an SV everything is slightly more difficult and less available it seems .. .

Would the VHPD manifolds in the link below be OK ?

Hehehe, I ditched the raceco option for exactly this reason. I was simply unable to get a setup that I was sure worked. Raceco does not provide much (any?) support for the manifold, and CC isn't exactly helpful when you are planning to fit an OEM silencer. So between the two, it was 100% up to me to find a manifold that would fit the silencer I did not have yet.
So I went with the powerspeed option and within a week got a setup that suited my SV

Hehehe, maybe that's where i'll end up, it's just a big shiny silencer isn't my preferred solution, doesn't quite fit the rest of the car and I have to agree on Raceco, there's not a lot of use selling siolencers if you're no use in advsing where you may be able to get some manifolds from as well . ..

So in essence, you're advice is go with Powerspeed
