Dont suppose if its too much bother, whether if anyone has this could they do some quick dimension checks on it for me for A and B

A = 520mm
B = 250mm

From my standard r300 2011 car.

I can see a few differences by the throttle body end to your pic mind.

Excellent thanks for that!

I'm not sure what the inlet ive posted is off, i had been told it was the newer version of the aluminium version that turns around like yours. Is yours a painted version of the old version that im on about? or am i talking nonsese?

The one you posted is a standard intake for the Caterham r300 race car. Which replaced the older aluminium ones with the bend in them.
We run it on all of our fleet of race & track cars (Bookatrack Ltd)
