Looking to take the se7en over to Europe next year any problems with driving the car on to the tunnel train due to low ground clearance?

Nope, done it many times although I've always considered it to be prudent to insist on going onto the lower deck.

They normally direct you to the lower deck. If not, ask to go there. The clearance is marginal for the top deck. Especially 2 up and loaded.

I had no problems with lowered floors and 2 up.

I've always been directed to the lower deck by the loading marshals.

Somebody might know the correct details, but I think you can also ask to go a different way to the queueing area that avoids the speed bumps.

Went to Le Mans last year in my Westfield and there were 2 Caterhams in front of me in the carriage. Not one of us had any issues with clearance and we were all 2 up and loaded with equipment. No probs at all.

I recon you'll have fewer problems on the train (in fact, none at all on the lower deck) than you'd have on a ferry.

Didn't have any problems on the lower deck. However, I did have some problems with the speedbumps before entering the train.

Done both many times. Nothing in it.
Prefer the ferry in general though. It a) forces you to take a break b) is cheaper and c) feels more like a Euro-road trip.

Le Mans trackday this year via tunnel, Abbeville the year before via ferry. No problems either way. 5 of us in convoy on train and they automaticaly directed us to the lower floor.
