Upgrading Radiator

Evening,

With the engine upgrade almost complete I am looking at upgrading the cooling system for the car to have hassle free motoring both on the road and on track. I have taken a belt and braces approach with the engine build and will be looking to do the same for the radiator.

The car is an SV with a 226 bhp duratec engine however has been built to withstand a 260 -270 upgrade if I wish with only a cam change required. Bearing this in mind which radiator would you recommend?

Early research shows the Radtec’s offer better cooling than the triple core options, however there are two Radtec options 45mm deep core and 68mm deep.

I am open to other offerings however would like your advice and experience.

unless your going to race, why would you need a triple pass radiator. I'm Duratec engined, with a standard Caterham radiator, with no problems with overheating

Sorry forgot to say that the car will be used quite often on trackdays for 20 minute periods or over.

The triple rad is not getting rave reviews on blatchat, so personally I would consider alternatives.

I had quite a lot of trouble with over heating on my 140bhp SV during trackdays, so I went for the rad tech extreme combined with a Mocal oil/water heat exchanger. That way the engine gets hotter quicker for road driving, and the oil gets cooled for trackday driving...best of both worlds

I'm just about to fit a 260/270bhp Duratec into my car and I have bought the smaller Radtec. Having run one before with a 226bhp K series, it coped easily. Radtec told me that at 260/270bhp it is borderline which size radiator would be best.
