Discussion
just bought my first Caterham (2005) at the age of 63, Ive been lusting after one since The Prisoner drove his Lotus 7 across our black and white screens in the 1960's I suppose I have a lot of patience in waiting all this time but the opportunity to buy always evaded me!! Sadly its been damaged by a previous owner so after some stripping Arch motors here we come.
Hi, well its a write off thats been in some kind of road accident the nose and front chassis is pushed up about 40mm ,radiator, anti roll bar mount all damaged, and the near side rear corner of the chassis and suspension has slight impact damage, ofcourse I have a split nose cone and damaged rear mudguard thats the list so far, but until I get it stripped and the panels off and its difficult to quantify everything,
I'm 65 1/4 and driving my lovely orange Classic - in fact been for a Blat today with the rev-counter sweeping round to 2 o'clock in a moment of cheer joy.
Had a Westie from '97 to 2011, sold to fund a trip on the 'Dark Side' A new 7 delivered November 2011.
My other wheels are an MX5, a Honda CBF500 and a Specialised Hardrock pushbike.
Still Crazy 1998
