stripping a 2005 rover caterham to chassis

as I said in another thread I have to strip my damaged series 3 to get the chassis repaired, what are the pitfalls, having worked on many cars over the years I think I am quite capable, so I am not asking how to do it.... but are there any typical Caterham issues with doing this work that I would be unaware of??
First of all, check how much disassembly Bruce requires you to do- often the easiest way is to leave the diff, de-dion, driveshafts, rear brakes and shock absorbers fitted. The benefit is you can leave the rear wheels on and 'wheelbarrow' the chassis about without any help.
There are no real pitfalls to the work- just note the position of the washers on the lower wishbone to chassis mounts (these are moved to adjust castor angle). Many swear by removing the engine and box as one unit but I prefer splitting them and lifting the engine alone.

Depends on how much of a rebuild you intend to do, I went the whole way.
Not to many 'gotchas' that I can remember and this was the first serious bit of work that I undertook on the 7. I learnt an awful lot about my car during the process.
It's worth buying a small parts washer if you don't have one to clean up all the bits so that they are ready for the rebuild. The only danger is that you'll not want to put back any 'tired' looking parts and invest in new bits!!
