Body panel removal

I bought my Caterham used and none of the build guides I've found on the web have been able to detail sufficiently how to remove all body panels for a complete re-spray. I'm guessing it's very straight forward but unfortunately the car is in storage 10 miles away so I can't just pop into my garage to see.

What is the process and how straight forward to remove all panels including scuttle etc.?

I think it's a matter of drilling out the rivets.

As said above (been there done that and there's an awful lot of rivets to drill out), but surely you you'd only want to remove the body panels if you're having it re-skinned. 7s are generally sprayed with skins on or have I missed something?

I have done this myself.

The panels do not really come off in one piece so they can be refitted. If you can ally weld and re-dress them over the chassis, you stand a chance.

When I did it I used new panels.

I didn't appreciate that. I thought they'd be very easy to remove therefore would make sense as would make the painting easier.
