removing K series engine and box
Discussion
I am about to start removing my K series engine and gear box, I am hoping to do that in one piece, I can see what looks like a lifting lug on the back of the engine made of steel plate with an oval hole, is that where one would lift the back? and what do I pick up on at the front to lift the combined unit, in the absence of anything else I am thinking of putting a strop under the front?

In fairness I found it much easy to use a strop front and rear, with the strop in between the gearbox and bell housing and front near the front of the sump pan and using the water rail to ensure it couldn't slide off. Then the 4 ends attaches to the load leveller it was easy to get it in and out . .
