Hi, have purchased a 7 for track days, however, my son is 6 ft 4 and big built, therefore doesn't fit in car very well with normal seats, I'm 5 ft 10 and it fits me well, would fitting a tillet seat, or a go kart seat give him more room, or could we just use foam velcro'd to floor and back as a seat?

No fixings are required.Normally the seat needs to be made in two parts, with a base and a back section (otherwise you can't twist them to get them out)
As you're quite different in size, you're likely to need your own seats making so that you can leave the pedals in a position that suits both of you.
Does the car have a lowered floor? If not, then that is worth considering before making foam seats.

With the car I just got it came with one of them and must admit quality of it was excellent - unfortunately my body shape isnt same and I doubt i can just hacksaw chunks off it

Sorry, no idea. Just that i'd'use them if i needed a bag seat rather than the foam version ... He's ex-F1, there's an interesting article somewhere I think in track-driver magazine showing the fitting process and how it can work a bit better than the foam process.
