think I must have a trailer fetish thing going on as Ive owned a couple of Prg, 3 woodford trailers and 6 different Brian James trailers , they are all brilliant and in twin axle all do the same job, I owned a single axle Prg which was fantastic trailer to tow and prob the lightest, was very easy to move around when off the car even with the car still on! but I was always concerned about getting a blow out and it was very sensitive to loading, too far forward or back and it would snake all over the place at higher speeds, out off all the ones Ive owned, for value I personally favour the woodford as it has slide out ramps from under the bed as standard making it much easier to load, where as you have to get a Amax in the Bj for that option which at the time was more money. (oh and I was told woodford used to make trailers for Bj )

I've got a 12 month old Brian James Clubman trailer for sale if your interested. Comes complete with extra long loading ramps, rear jacks, spare wheel and centre board. Trailer is a twin axle trailer and suitable for towing an S3 Caterham. Tows really well, loading ramps fit tight against trailer so there's no rattling ramps when driving along UK roads (if you know what I mean!!).

Trailer has been stored inside every night and probably hasn't done 1500 miles. Trailer apparently can be stored in a single garage if required. Reason for sale is business has moved on since we purchased this trailer and we now need look at purchasing a larger covered trailer. This trailer is perfect for someone competing in Academy or wanting to transport an S3 to track days.

Had a Brian James Mino, with a folding tow bar, which was better for a single garage. Used it for 3 years and then sold it, for nearly as much as I paid for it. Great piece of kit, would buy one again

As the starter of the linked topic above, I ended up buying a Brian James Minno trailer and have been very happy with it so far. Mine has the fold-up neck, which saves a lot of space in the garage. Width wise it's a bit of a tight fit, but it's nice and compact and seems well designed and built.

i have a BJ clubman trailer. really easy to use

id like to ask, has anyone tried storing a trailer on its side?? would save a lot of room! i havnt tried it because the trailer isnt with me right now. i think it weighs about 300kg

at the moment my car and trailer are separately stored

but could you hand manoeuvre a BJ trailer with 500kg vehicle on it, into a garage opening 6 inches wider than the trailer max width?

If it's a single axle then yes easy.

I have a BJ Clubman tilt-bed (twin-axle) with tyre rack and storage box with 550kg car and I can manoeuvre this into a single garage (not sure I have as much as 6" to spare) pretty easily. It would be a lot easier if the previous owner of the garage hadn't laid a new concrete floor which has a 50mm step in it. So sometimes I need a helping hand to get it up this step

I have a minno max which is less than an inch narrower than my garage door and I (well we - me and the wife) can hand push the trailer through with a Caterham on it, not a problem if you raise the front of the trailer on the jockey wheel so only 2 road wheels are in contact with the ground.
