Somewhere to build a Caterham?

I am really desperate to be able to build my own Caterham but the only problem is, I need somewhere to build it.

Has anyone worked around this issue before or does anyone know of suitable places that I could rent to accommodate my Caterham build? (Location wise I would be looking anywhere from Lincolnshire to Cheshire).

Most storage warehouses have units up to double garage size.

You arent allowed to store flamable liquids in them but I can't see any reason why you could rent one to build a shiney new car in. The access hours are usually pretty good (mine is something like 7 am to 9pm) but you can also get 24 hour access if you really need it.

Davey thanks for the reply, unfortuatelly all the storage companies I have contacted say they can not allow construction in their storage facilities, can you point me in the right direction of any that you know that might be able help

Totally random suggestion, but if you're around Lincolnshire you might want to try having a chat with the guys at Blyton Park. They've got a big old hangar there which I believe a few people use to keep and maintain race cars, plus it's pretty convenient for a pre-road legal shakedown!

They're a friendly bunch although I suspect their answer would depend on things like insurance. Still might be worth a try!

Someone was asking similar questions on here a while back and one of the suggestions was that you put an ad in your local post office for a garage to rent. The argument went that lots of old dears live in houses with garages but don't drive any more and could use the £10/week etc.
