I've pinched this from Blatchat in the hope of alerting as many Devon 7 owners as possible if they want more Lotus 7 Club action in their area.

If you live in Devon, aren't down as "No Contact" on the Lotus 7 Club membership database, and have an email address, you should have received a questionnaire by email on 21st June.

The questions were from a member who is trying to find out what local members want in the Area, with a view to possibly taking over the role of Area Representative.

Although we've had some responses, it's not a very high percentage of members, so if you'd have received the questionnaire and haven't replied, please do so before Wednesday.

If you haven't received the questionnaire, please send me a blatmail with your name and email address, and I'll forward a copy to you.

I hope you will all support someone who is prepared to try to rejuvenate the area for your benefit, but they would appreciate some feedback to the questionnaire.

Oh dear, not a great response, I only hope the questionnaire was more successful. I'm an ex. 7 owner, now living in Devon, and thinking of getting another one. Guess the local area meets are a little quieter than they were in Wiltshire?

The whole Club needs rejuvenating, not just the Devon area. That's why we all left and membership is 20% down on when we were there. More fun can be had on PH events these days.

But you're happy to take advantage of the Club's free entry to Brands this weekend.
A little hypocritical don't you think? smile

If you can find me there, well done. I'll be at a circuit with Caterhams racing, just not that one. The one I go to will have the Caterhams in the last 2 places :-)

Well in that case I offer my most humble apologies.

No doubt you signed up for this event some time ago, and as your membership has recently lapsed decided to do the honourable thing and pass on your entry to a paid-up club member, but couldn't get access to the web site to delete your name. You are, Sir, a True Gentleman.
(of course you could have just censored said so in the first place)

Now now Arnie, you weren't that disappointed with club as you came to the club meeting last night, not 7 hours after your post above nono

Actually there was an encouraging response to the questionnaire from club members, but a lot of them aren't on here.

So bertberr, if you're thinking of getting a 7 then do join the club (many of the troublemakers have indeed left, and a few are on here now - hi Arnie byebyebiggrin
