Certainly an interesting move. Definitely an omelette that broke some eggs in the process.

OMG eek
Hopefully there is someone in the design team with both taste and normal eyesight, that arrives back from their holidays, or wherever they may be at the moment in time to stop the embarrasment of this being officially released to the world.
It is beyond hideous. A jumble of body panels that someone else had no use for and then hashed together to form a ....... "thing"

I don't like it biggrin

Love the idea, but the execution is foul.....

Like the profile and rear, but that front needs some more work! I suppose it'll all be down to what weight can be achieved.

Asian design influence. Tasteless.

I'm still convinced it's a joke and that a Mini Group C-esque/Exigish type car will be unveiled at the weekend.

It would be a good wind up and respect to them if they did....it's got us lot goingsmile

That car couldn't possibly be a serious idea..could it? Doesn't make sense.

I like the idea... but that front doesn't do it for me.

Given that it has no screen, and is clearly aimed at a trackday croud, wouldn't most people still opt for a normal 7 given that they'll be lighter?

I have to say i like the front end, but i would like to see the green side line to go lower or parallel to the ground. The rear is to huge and a lower side line would give it a slimer look.

If its so 'Aero', where's the downforce going to come from? Nice idea- needs some tweaking particularly around the back end.

It's a concept, to show off the synergies of working with the F1 team. It's not intended for production..........is it?

It does look a lot better in that photo, still not sure about the front of it!

I really do,like the look of that dashboard though.

It seems to have a gear indicator on that dash too, but the gearbox looks like a standard six speed manual, so not sure how it would pick up gear position?

Wrong, the Sunday Times had all the details today, based on CSR, 237bhp, pushrod suspension, anti-lock brakes and traction control - and the body does generate downforce. Release date 2014.

Really not sure who would buy this?? The Caterham/Alpine collaboration is the one I'm waiting for.

You do wonder whether they're testing reaction for possible ways forward from the 7
