Is it easy to retro-fit a heater?
Discussion
It is about £255 for the heater but they sometimes appear secondhand on ebay blatchat etc. How difficult depends on the car and what may require to be moved. Plumbing is also harder on some engines with the early R400ds being particularly difficult to fit around the air filter. I would suggest a long day would be needed to fit one.

These are much better than the Caterham heater - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Micro-Heater-Rally-Subar...
Depends where you live and when you drive; many tough guys will say that they never need a heater , even at subzero temperatures with aeroscreens and wearing shorts and a Tshirt and...(continues on page 56 ). My car is like an oven in hot weather - very hot transmission tunnel but I don't mind admitting that a heater is very welcome on long runs in cool weather. Gloves? Hell yes- if your hands are getting cold why not ?
