Give TSK a call. I think they are in herts somewhere. I think the guy who runs it is Tony.

They sprayed a front and rear wing for me last year after a knock with a great finish.

They also give my car a full re spray (also an S3) in Porsche GT3 RS orange when the previous owner had it.

For a newly repaneled car, £1500 seems to be the budget. Is this about right?

mine was a bit less than that, but I have carbon wings so didn't get them painted, It will also depend on how much of the dismantling / reassembly you take on yourself

If you want to travel into Essex, I had my Caterham race car sprayed for £600 and did a great job.

Its only a little spray shop but they do BMW warranty so very good quality.

Out of interest - what level of stripping down is required?

Does the scuttle need separating? Can they do it with wishbones attached?

When I had mine done by TSK I did the following:

Removed front suspension including all wishbones, dampers , headlights etc. I made up a dolley with castors to move the car around that attached to the front lower wishbone front bolt points.

Loosened scuttle and raised it about a couple of inches, after undoing wiper spindles.

Removed rear wings, watts linkages.

Removed fog light. My car did not have one but the reversing light need removing.

Remove exhaust and headers.

Removed all poppers for hood, tonneau, boot cover etc.

Drilled out interior trim panel rivets to provide a gap for spraying, i.e. Where you get into the car. You may need to remove the seats.

If you want the roll bar sprayed then you would need to remove it which entails removing the rear struts to get to one of the bolts.

I think that is it. Basically Tony will charge for carrying out any of this and it is much cheaper if you do it yourself and leave the difficult job of body prep and spraying to him.

Metallic/ pearlescent is more expensive, painted stripes are extra.

Tony at TSK did an excellent job on my car at a very reasonable price in my eyes.
