GoPro lens settings on a Caterham rollbar?

Just got myself a GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition and tried it out this afternoon but can only seem to find a "wide angle" mode.

Can anyone tell me the best settings, etc

I have a GoPro 2 and when set it to 720p60 it only gives me a wide option. I have to switch to 1080p30 to have the option of wide, normal, narrow. yours has similar restrictions

I tend to use the medium setting myself. I find wide a little too much and doesn't convey the speed so well.

Youtube degrades the quality a bit, but you get the picture. The microphone was a cheap external one and was sat on top of the tunnel cover in front of the gear stick.
