I heard the old L7C meeting was no more following the resignation of the AO, and its now an independent meeting - Spotted Dog,Penshurst, 3rd Tuesday of the month, 8pm onwards.

Nice of the L7C to keep promoting it on their website too!

Well you need to get your hearing aid tested Arnie, as you heard wrong

The previous AR has given up due to other commitments, and a neighbouring AR is looking after the meeting until someone else volunteers.

There was a great turnout of over 20 Caterham owners / prospective owners, (and a Lotus owner) there on Tuesday enjoying a drink and a natter

so you can put the wooden spoon away now

Being as i am the AO who resigned i should like to point out to Mr Webb that i did'nt take kindly to his suggestion when i spoke to him about my descision at the time.We all know what he's like with his childish humour. I hope that i left the meeting in a good position with a very loyal group of enthusiasts. It was commented that the Xmas do at The Spotted Dog was one of the best they had attended for many a year. I'll take a break from some meetings for a while but you never know-i may return when my circumstances change.
